Hello everyone

I just found online where Giant Markets is having their Hershey Park sale beginning 6/19. It's a little different than last year, but still a decent bargain as I live close. The tickets are one free for 50 dollars in eligible purchases or two free tickets for 75 dollars in eligible purchases. There are more drinks than food. Thanks for posting. I've been waiting/hoping this deal to come out - my family will thoroughly enjoy it. I hope the items to select from are a bit larger than she lists (DeGiorno Pizza last year), but I'll make it work.

Thanks for the heads up! While we have season passes, I want to take my nephew when he visits.

No problem. I've been stashing extra grocery money while waiting for it, so extra drinks are okay. I wish there were more food items, but it'll work. I have two tickets from the Pepsi sale last month, just need a few more. Enjoy!!:cool1:

Very cool, Thanks for the heads up. I think the deal might be better for us than before. (I miss our season passes)

Last year the voucher that printed out was good for either 1 free admission or get 4 tickets for $60. (the latter was in fine print). We use the 4/$60 as we take our niece & nephews when they come to visit.

When someone gets a voucher, could you report back if they have a fine print deal this year? If only the products listed in the ad are the 'participating' products then I'm not sure it's worth it this time.

TIA!

I'm looking at the ad now. It has two offers - 1 free ticket for $50 of products purchased or 2 free tickets for $75 of products purchased. No option of buying 4 tickets for $60.

Products are: Pepsi 20 pack; Pepsi 8 pack; Kraft Mayonnaise; Jello instant pudding or gelatin; Oscar Mayer Bologna; Kraft Paremsan; Aquafina 24 pack; Kraft Salad dressing; A-1 steak sauce or marinade; Jello temptations pudding; Kool-aid drink mis; Oscar Mayer lunch meat; Starbucks Frappaccino 4 pack; Maxwell house coffee; Oreos; Nabisco Crackers; Planter nuts; Good Seasons dressing; Lipton brisk Tea 12 pack; Capri Sun 10 pack; Planters Trail Mix; Nabisco Newtons; and Crystal Light mix. I'll update if I find a larger selection when I go to the store.

I'm trying to read the fine print on-line and it's too small to read. Can someone with the ad please tell me what (if any) are the limits? Is it one offer per household, one offer per bonus card, etc.

I'd like to try to get 4 tickets total. TIA

Here's the fine print in the ad "Voucher will print at checkout with eligible purchases. Purchases must be met after all BONUS BUY deals and must be made in a singe transaction with your BONUSCARD. Offer valid 6/19 - 6/25/11. Voucher for regular one-day admission redeemable at any cash gate at Hersheypark through 8/12/11. Value is $53.95 per ticket. Not valid online or in combination with any other discount, admission plans or previously purchased tickets. Vouchers must not be reproduced or sold. 2011 Kraft Foods. 2011 PepsiCo, In. All Rights Reserved. 2011 Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company."

So there's no restrictions mentioned for the number of vouchers can be earned. It just all has to be in the same transaction.

For my earlier question, I don't remember the 4/$60 mentioned in the fine print of the ad last year but when I read the fine print on the actual voucher that printed out I saw that it could be used for either/or. So I'm hoping the same happens this year.

I did the deal today. I noticed additional items marked in the store that weren't included in the ad, but I stuck with the items that were in the ad. It seemed like things were pretty chaotic at my local Giant with people trying to do the deal. I did two separate transactions to get a voucher for two tickets (spending $75) and a second voucher for one ticket (spending$50). Pretty much I stocked up on sodas and Capri Sun and used some coupons to pick up things like salad dressing and A1 sauce.

What I'm hoping to do is send DH through the gate with our DS(5) on the two ticket voucher and then go through separately myself with our second DS (who is free b/c he's 2) with the second one ticket voucher.

The bottom of the vouchers states: Redeem this voucher at any cash gate at HersheyPark for one (two) reagular one-day HersheyPark admission ticket(s). Not valid online or in combination with any other discounts, admission plans or previously purchased tickets. Vouchers must not be reproduced or sold. Not redeemable for cash. Limit one voucher per guest per day. Voucher expires on 8/12/2011.

While I was at Giant, I also picked up some Disney gift cards to use as spending money for our vacation this summer. They are doing double rewards points on all gift cards through June 25th. :thumbsup2

Thank You! I was also hoping for the 4/60 deal, but I guess not. I wanted to do two days, but still good, we might just go for one day. We will just be returning from Disney 8/1 after two weeks :cool1: but the kids love Hershey. Too good to pass up.

Thanks Everyone

Terry

thanks for the voucher info pam95!

i didn't know giant had the disney gc's, might have to pick up a few for the extra points. thanks. :thumbsup2

Voucher expires on 8/12/2011.

Thanks for reponding with all the details. What a bummer that it expires so early. I thought last year it went into September.

Just back from the store. There are a few additional items not listed in the ad. I asked at customer service for the card from Kraft listing the items, and they didn't have anything other than the one they are keeping at the desk, so I copied down the extras. You can do the deals as many times as you want on a bonus card, she just suggested doing them as separate transactions to be sure to be appropriately credited. The manager also told me that the $50 or $75 had to be spent after all bonus buys and coupons. I specifically requestioned on the coupons and she reitereated that your out of pocket had to meet the 50 or 75. Use coupons if you want, but still hit the spending number. I thought that was odd, but will still work with it.

EDIT - CAN USE COUPONS AFTER YOU HIT THE 50 OR 75. I just did it - does require a trip to customer serivice, but can be done!

Pretty dissapointed it has to be met after the coupons. After the bonus card buy after coupons come on. Btw there's quite a few kraft coupons in yesterday's paper.

Can you use these vouchers for the special free nighttime preview the day before?

Is this also only for PA residents? I live in NJ. We are planning to go to DW as well so will probably get the combo tickets, but just wondering.

i can't see why not, as long as you have a bonuscard and you shop at one of the locations doing the promo that should be all you need.

can anyone report back about needing the purchase total before or after coupons? the ad states clearly "Purchases must be met after all BONUS BUY deals and must be made in a singe transaction with your BONUSCARD. " without any mention of coupons. if anyone has an experience where they did get the voucher even though the coupons brought it under the total OR if they didn't it would be good to know.

my husband is braving the aisles tonight as i'm stuck working late and the store we tried yesterday didn't have the pepsi cubes. (our ad stated 20 or 24 pack of pepsi so i'd rather get the 24 if i'm going to spend $6 on it.) so i'm hoping for no fuss as he's not as diplomatic as i if it doesn't work out right. :)

a very short perusal of the cookies/crackers aisle did show a few more things eligible than listed in the ad. the things that stuck out for me was the Ritz cracker chips and nutter butters. i know there was more but am totally flaking on it right now.

Small issue with coupons but the ad said after all Bonus Buys "no mention of coupons". So a little extra time but the customer service lady fixed it right up for me.

I wanted 4 tixs so I did the deal 2 times in seperate transactions. Hope this helps others...

My friend went and did this deal on Sunday. She spent a total of $59.xx AFTER coupons ($75+ before) and got her 2 free ticket voucher. She didn't mention that she had any trouble and was already figuring out her next senario since she saw all the extras included, that weren't in the ad. There was a tear pad in the store that lists more.
