I just watched the premier tonight. Is it just me or did they just skip over the 5 shadows and 6 people part? Who died? The part where Melinda said goodby to the Prof. was kind of strange. It was almost like she was in love with him.

The 6 people and 5 shadows might have signified that one of the group was 'departing' (not necessarily passing on).

And as they'd grown close over the year or two that he was on the show (in his part)- I could see why she'd become emotional over his leaving.

Maybe his new show will flop.......

They did the shadow thing at the very beginning. The prof is taking a sabbatical to do research, I think he said in the Himalayas.

At first I thought she was showing too much emotion, like she was in love with him, but then I thought maybe she has a feeling he wasn't coming back? But she has a new "partner" now, so I guess that's really it for Prof.

Her hubby is underplayed, sort of a dud, and I was hoping Melinda and the Prof would develop some romantic tension. It's better off this way, though, to prove that women don't necessarily fall in love with everyone they work with.

Looking forward to next week. This is the only TV show I watch regularly, and I'm so glad it's back on.

Maybe his new show will flop.......

I'd LOVE for that to happen! Imagine him having to deal with Melinda, AND the new ghost-hearer, what's his name, I already forgot!

Well, that makes sense now. I do hope his new show flops. From what the critics say, it's not on their top 10 list. I want him back with Melinda.
