I was one that vowed not to watch if Jim died, well I am still watching. I would still prefer to have a live Jim in his own body but am getting used to him in Sam's as long as they still show Jim as himself the majority of the time.

I too have gotten used to Eli. At first I was really against his character, I thought he was just going to be silly like Jamie Kennedy plays most of his characters but that has not been the case and I actually enjoy his scenes. I would not however like to see a relationship develop between him and Melinda.

I have enjoyed the season so far, there have been some really good episodes.

My husband doesn't watch the show but has seen it enough while I watch to know who the characters are. The other week he saw it for the first time this season and it was showing Sam (the other Sam) and Melinda together and my husband wondered where her husband went. So I filled him in on the storyline and he was just like "ok", like it made perfect sense to him

Not only has Melinda's husband gotten himself a new body, so has their house. From the outside, it looks quite different than what I remember from previous seasons. The neighborhood looks different at times also, depending on the storyline.

I suppose Jim will have to give up being a paramedic, unless the FD doesn't need any proof of his education/experience. And wouldn't it seem weird that Melinda's new boyfriend becomes a paramedic just like her husband was? He could stay in the remodeling business though, he did an awesome job on their house.

Man, I'm way overthinking this tv show.

How long does it take to "retrain" to be a paramedic? He wouldn't have to study hard for the exams.

Wasn't there a fire last year on the set, destroying quite a bit of it? I've also noticed the change in the house and the neighborhood and I've just assumed that was it.

About 2.5 years (taking the summer off). My oldest son is going to school right to be a paramedic. You take EMT basic, EMT intermediate then 3 semesters of paramedic training.

I was disappointed with direction of the show when they killed Jim off. I really loved the dynamics of their relationship. I vowed not to watch anymore, but I guess I'm getting used it. He hasn't really left since I see Jim's face all the time unless he's looking in the mirror.
