"Ghost" FP+

So I just made my FP+ reservations! But I seem to have a "ghost"' since it shows two FPs for TSM the same day. I assume this is because I changed the time on the original one, but it's still showing up, along with the new time.

Will this ever resolve itself? Will it (the ghost) ever disappear or will it stay there forever? Do I just have to remember which one is the "real" (new) one?

You may be better calling Disney IT and seeing if they can help you. I had a similar problem with Ghost Elements (these were their words) on my reservation. It did take 4 calls to get it sorted out but the agents were wonderful, and it's all fixed now. Apparently I would have been fine leaving them there, but I wasn't happy about it because I didn't want the wrong things to be connected to our reservations (I had an extra set of park tickets per person- different duration to the ones I actually purchased) as well as an extra set of magic bands. There was also a clone of me (yep, I was an extra guest on our reservation in addition to the original version of myself )

All the agents I spoke to confirmed that the correct things would show up when I checked in. But I opted to have it sorted out and they obliged. The last agent I spoke to said the 'ghost' elements have been a recurring mystery, and although not 'common', it is happening frequently enough that they are looking into possible causes.

I have a slew of ghost fp+ reservations. AND they are showing up on my sister's MDE, too. I guess I will call IT. So now she is questioning me regularly, because they are also for weird numbers of our party, and not the whole thing.

Apparently once you get there and they are 'live' it all falls into place correctly. I have also read reports on here of these glitches just correcting themselves for some. It's just one of those things where I feel more in control being able to see the correct information and because we have a split stay and all kinds of other stuff linked to our booking, I would rather keep complications to a minimum where possible.
