Ghost Adventures and Whale Wars!!

My favorite shows start again friday night

whale wars on animal planet
and ghost adventures on travel channel.

anyone else a fan of either show?

I love both shows! My sister is a zoologist and she really wants to be on one of the ships.

I love Ghost Adventurer's too. So excited for it to come back on again. I look forward to my spooky friday nights

That would be cool to be on the sea shepard. darryl hannah is supposed to be on the ship this season

the ghost adventurers are great, we love zac! i love how he is antagonistic and some of the spooky stuff that happens!

Wow Darryl Hannah! I'll keep an eye out for her. It would be a hard lifestyle but really fulfilling as well.

My mom and I always crack up at how Zac shouts at the ghosts and then everyone freaks out and goes running when something actually happens
All the other ghost shows i've seen haven't even had half as much activity. I would also love to be there for an episode (I say that now but I would probably freak out)

Ghost Adventures is a hoot! The guys are funny IMO plus I love the locations they visit.

I've never seen the other show.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ghost Adventures!!! Zac is the coolest (and bravest)!!! I especially loved the episodes in Edinburgh (the bridges where the teddy bear moved), the nightclub in Alabama that used to be something else, and the hotel in Nevada (where Zac got so scared that he actually jumped out of a second story building when bricks and wood started hurling at him ) He is one brave man!!!

Whale Wars makes me mad. I REALLY tried to watch it last year, but the captain irritates me. He seems to ask a lot of others that he is not willing to do himself. After half his crew abandoned ship, I had to stop watching. I wish I could say I liked it better. However, I really like Darryl Hannah....I may have to try watching it again just to see her!!

Why must he yell ALL the time? Then he tells everyone to be quiet, shh, shh, shh, then continues to make as much noise as he darn well pleases. I'd kick him in the head if he were on one of our investigations! LOL! But, he is highly entertaining for TV and they do appear to get good stuff!!

I LOVE Ghost Adventures. It is one of the rare shows that can spook me. One time after a particularly scary episode ( the one at that bar) I had to go to my Dad's house for something, the whole family was gone to vacation except me. So, it was really late at night. The lights were on at the house and I had to turn them all off. So, stupidly I turned off the lights, except I didn't turn the lights off as I was going out, but as I was going in. I was alone in the dark down our long hallway that doesn't have a light. The thought of Ghost Adventures running through my head. So, of course I BOLTED out of the house. Stupid Ghost Adventures (except I watched another episode the next week. )

When and where is Whales on? I just happen to catch the end of a snippet about it on tv the other day and thought it looked really interesting. Had kind of forgot about it until I read this thread this morning.

I loved that episode! He was 'facing his fears!' Whatever!!!! We will be tuning in to the new GA episodes! Zac is such a frat boy!

I think capt paul did all that crazy stuff when he was greenpeace, he tells people right up front what he expects of them, and i would guess he doesn't go off doing those things because he is the capt of the vessel and can't chance being taken off the ship. although i am sure they would manage, i like the one from switzerland, i forget his name, brown long hair and glasses, seems mild mannered.

My entire family loves the trainwreck that is Whale Wars! The captain is ridiculous and the majority of the crew (while they certainly have heart and good intentions) have no business being on a ship in the middle of the ocean. But it's entertaining!

I love his mission and the intentions of the whole crew, but yes, my husband who is retired US Coast Guard just sits and shakes his head at the crew most of the time.

ITA!!! I couldn't believe it when they damaged the helicopter before it ever did a mission!! And then when the capt. "guilted" the guy who damaged it into being the hostage!! And every time the f/o would take the helm I just held my breath....he had no business being in charge of that ship, and that the capt. couldn't see that TOTALLY freaked me out!!

And then.....what happened that they ruined half the engines on that ship on its maiden voyage? Maybe old parts, or maybe mis-handling of the ship. I don't know, but they seem to have a LOT of "bad luck".

Of course, I think I am just sensitive. I think any ship Christened the "Steve Irwin" should be treated with great respect by people who know what they are doing!! I hope they get their act in gear this year. Their cause is certainly noble, but they need to get better at their game.

Oh Geez, I forgot about that! We were rolling! Aside from the fact that it's just silly to wander around on a snake infested hill, his reactions were so hilarious!
