Ghirardelli Snack Credits

What is considered a "snack" at Ghirardelli in Disney Springs?

It is anything under a certain dollar amount. I think it was $5 when we there in December. But, I know I read somewhere on the boards that the dollar value recently went up. But, I don't recall the amount. At $5 or whatever it was, there was not much to choose from...but a bit more would greatly expand the options.

I don't believe the dining plan is accepted at Ghiradelli.

EDIT: Just checked, and Disney's website says they don't, but some others say they do and some others say they don't, so.......


I still don't think they accept it.

I went looking and finally found a recent picture of the menu. There are no Disney snack logos on their menu, so chances are VERY slim that anything is a snack credit.

HOWEVER, it never hurts to ask, so if you're going to be there anyway, I'd definitely go in and ask if they accept snack credits for anything. I remember seeing a couple of reports last year of people getting some of the smaller items (cookie or something) with a snack credit.

We were there last night and asked. The manager happened to be at our register and the answer is: anything under $6.75 before tax. This includes both the ice cream parlor and the shop. I got a waffle bowl with two scoops - best snack value on property if you ask me .
