Ghirardelli and snack credits

Last time we were at Disney we got some amazing fudge from the Ghirardelli shop. It was prepackaged in a little container and was about $10. Does anyone know if this would count as a snack credit?
Also, this is the first time we have used the dining plan. If we eat at a qs and don't want the dessert right away, can it be saved to be used later, like at main st bakery or something? Thanks!

You will NOT be able to get the pre-packaged fudge for a snack credit. Last report was they do have a few things you can use a snack credit on, but you'll have to go in and ask as they aren't listed ANYWHERE online.

If you don't want your dessert, you can trade it AT THAT TIME for anything with the purple snack logo next to it. You CANNOT save it to use elsewhere. All QS components have to be obtained when you order. The only exception to this is when you do a QS at your resort and you want ice cream for your dessert. They will stamp your receipt and you can get your ice cream when you finish eating. There is a time limit involved here, so you cannot eat at lunch and come back that evening and get your ice cream.
