Ghiradelli seating?

We have never been to Ghiradelli, but would like to try it on our next visit. Is there seating inside? If so, is it similar to Beaches and Cream? We'll be there with a party of 10. I'm sure we wouldn't be able to sit together, but was wondering how the seating arrangement is set up. Thanks!

Technically it is counter service with open seating. When you order items which have to be made, they give you a numbered table stand. You find a table and put the stand on it; after a while someone will come to deliver your ice cream.

They do not want people to sit at tables before theorder is placed.

It's also very crowded in there, we have found that you usually have to have one person give the order while everyone else is hunting a table. There used to be some outside seating as well. Also, if you have a stroller I would think it would be almost impossible to navigate inside.

Thanks. I was thinking it was more like Beaches and Cream, where you are seated at a table and are waited on. Looks like it would be much better for us to just grab an ice cream and walk around.

When we went, it was so crowded, the line was incredibly long and there wasn't seating to be found, barely standing room to be found. We gave up.
