GFVs Availability for September of 2015

Hi.
This year, I booked a dedicated two bedroom, standard view at the GFVs for 8 nights (September 20-28, 2014). I understand the resort is not yet sold out and think it was easier for me to book due to this reason.

That being said, if I wanted to do the same for a longer period of time for next September, beginning September 8, 2015, do my chances now go down a lot since the resort will be selling more points?

I know it is a guessing game, just trying to see and think about what I would try to book at my 7 month window. Is it correct, if I wanted to book for September 8, 2015, my 7 month window would be February 8, 2015?

Yes, your 7 month window would be February. September is slow for DVC, I think you have a good chance.

Dedicated 2BRs at VGF are usually open 7 months out, and for at least a short time beyond that, most of the year and are likely to be open for Sep, a low DVC demand time. Selling more points is not likely to change that. What is often gone at 7 months out is VGF studios (and also 2BR lockoffs as a result). Studios are by far the highest demanded room size and with only 47 of them at VGF, they can easily disappear before the 7 month window opens.

Feb 8 would be the 7 month out date for a Sep 8 arrival date but you would be able to reserve only 7 nights on Feb 8. You would need to add nights by calling after Feb 8.
