GFV check-in

My family and I have a trip booked in a few weeks. This will be our first trip as DVC members staying one night at GFV. Do we have to check in in the main lobby or if I check in online can we go straight to our room? How do we know what our room number is if I check in online?

The Grand Floridian Villas have their own lobby where you can check in If you do on-line check in, you will get a text with your room number when your room is ready Then you can go straight to your room

The Villas check in desk is open from 7 am to 10 pm daily. If you need to visit the front desk outside of those hours you will need to go over to the main building.

If you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your luggage on a cart, which they can store for you. Then, go to a park or whatever. When your room is ready, you can take the cart up to your room. There is a greeter at VGF who can help you with this.

Or, if you prefer, you can check your bags with Bell Services and they will bring them up for you.
