GF vs. Poly for Honeymoon

My FI and I will be honeymooning in Disney next month. We are staying 10 days and splitting our stay between two resorts. Right now we are booked at the GF for the first 5 and the YC for the next 5. Since AP rates came out today and Poly lagoon view concierge room are $380, I'm tempted to switch there for the frist 5 nights. We got a good room-only rate at GF but the Poly room would only be $30 more/night. Can anyone offer and suggestions??? We have never stayed at either resort, we would love the concierge experience but on the other hand we would also love to stay at the GF. Thanks so much!!

Hello. My husband and I honeymooned in WDW last year (in addition to a week in Italy). We split our stay 4 nights at GF- RPC concierge/4 nights Poly and 3 night YC Concierge. We loved staying at all the resorts and everytime we checked out and checked-in to a new place we felt like our honeymoon was just beginning again!
My suggestion would be to stay Poly concierge (we will be there next Feb. 2005) and then stay at the YC- that way you get best of MK area and best of Epcot/MGM area--
OR
you could split your stay between all of them!
It is your honeymoon and you should enjoy it!
Remember when making ps and ressies to tell them you are on your honeymoon..

Thank you so much!! That's great advice....I think I may have my FI call and see what the availability is for Poly concierge....it would be a really fun experience...regardless of where we stay I know it will be a great time!! Thanks again

I've stayed at both the GF (concierge, main building) and Poly Concierge (both lagoon and garden view). If your choice is a regular room GF or Poly Concierge, definitely choose the Poly! I enjoyed my stay at the GF (it was a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon trip from the heavens), but I just love the Poly and their concierge. The whole resort is terribly romantic and the service is great. Worth every penny and you will really love it.
