What would be the best building to request for a castle view? It looks like from the map that Boca Chica would be the best and it looks like it is the closest to the pool. Any opinions? Thanks!

We had a nice castle view in Conch Key.

For having the castle in dead center view, I think that an end room in Sago Cay or Conch Key would be the best. I think a view from Boca Chica might get blocked by the other buildings. I seem to remember seeing someone in a lounge chair on the first floor patio of Conch Key when we were arriving back at the resort on the boat. They must of had the most beautiful view of the lake and the castle. It would probably be a 2 minute walk to the large pool and a 3 minute walk to the theme pool though.

We had a pretty good view of the castle from our room in Bocha Chica, but there are some pine trees that block your view from some of the rooms. We stayed in 1999, and I would guess that some of those trees have gotten even bigger. We were on the 4th floor and really liked it. The nice thing about about our view was not only could you see the MK, but the Contemp, you could watch the monorail go thru, we could also see the Poly and WL.
I really was a nice location, and was right near the pool and not too far from Gasparillas, or the main building.

We stayed on the fifth floor Boca Chica and had a wonderful view. However, I did notice that there were some pine trees that might block the view of other rooms.

We loved it there and so will you!!

We had a room once in Boca Chica and there was a tree which completely blocked a view of the castle...or even the lagoon, really. The tree was large and directly off our patio (1st floor).

Another stay we stayed on the 5th floor of Sago Cay for a perfect view of the castle. I think this was the clearest and closest view possible. It was wonderful . Sigh.

Request an "end" room at Sago Cay. Beautiful, unobstructed views of the castle, fireworks...( See under my username )

Thanks everyone! I was just talking to a women who just got back and she stayed at LV at Sago Cay. It was wonderful she said, perfect view. I think that is what I'll request. Of couse DH says u-huh that's what you say this week!
