We have booked 5 nights at the Poly in Dec and as a treat my wife would like to go for tea. Is the Grand Floridian worth going to?

It is very nice - a bit expensive I think for what it is. But a lovely treat, especially if it is a once off. Would recommend booking late afternoon as much quieter:thumbsup2

We do this every trip it's great. They bring round tea in a box for you to smell and chose. The pastries are yummy! This trip we found the server a bit snotty, don't think she was impressed with my DS (3) putting the tea cosy on his head!. Her attitude changed when she found out we were GF resort guests!

Go for it you will have a great time :)

I was taken 12 months ago for 4 nights in GF for my 50th birthday, it was the best thing that has ever happened to me, yes it was expensive, but it was well worth it - it was the 1st time I had ever stayed onsite as well.
We went to Albert and Victorias, forget the butty's go there, you will never forget it - i guarantee that ...

Where is it?:confused3

The GF cafe is in the main building right at the very back on the left habd side, Narcoossees is beside the boat launch on the seven seas lagoon, from here you can see the castle and if you time it right Wishes, they also pipe the music from Wishes in too :) You can see pics of the restaurants on Allearsnet.com :)

We have done the afternoon tea a few times and loved it everytime. our children treated us to the Grand Tea for a wedding anniversary present a couple of years ago, and it was no that cheap but we ate no lunch and were full right through to late, late evening. plus its the best cup of american tea you will ever have....

You only live once, its a great escape from the usual Disney fare, we had a great time. Not cheap, but nothing at the GF is.

We're not doing the tea at GF but we were so impressed we are booking our wedding lunch at the resort.

It is a beautiful place.
