Hello! I just upgraded my July reservation to a Deluxe King in the RPC! I had some questions regarding which type of room within the category to request. I know there are the "honeymoon" rooms on the 2nd floor that overlook the marina, and there are also the turret rooms.
My first question is: Are the 2nd floor rooms inconvenient to get to the lounge on the 4th floor? I have seen some info where it involves some sort of 2 elevator system? Being in kind of your own wing, do you miss out on the "feel" of the main building?
Second, for those of you that have stayed in the turret king rooms, do you miss the balcony?
Third, and pretty basic, given the choice of the two options, which would you go with and why?
Thanks for any and all info. We are extremely excited, and want this to be perfect!

We are "balcony people" and honestly didn't miss it at all. The unique layout of the room and how big it was definitely won us over. Keep in mind that three of the turrets face the front of the resort (monorail, themed pool, polynesian view). We were on the 3rd floor on that side. There was actually a balcony right next to our turret room that no one ever used. So, if we wanted to sit outside, we used it. Overall, the turret is my preference. Here are some more pix (these were taken prior to the decor change, however. so prints, furniture placement are a little different now).
