What do you reckon my chances might be, on my arrival evening (flying from UK so not sure of arrival time given scope for issues) of asking at concierge to see whether we can get into either Citricos, Narcoosees or GF Cafe for dinner?

I suddenly thought we have enough DXDDP credits to achieve such a thing, but maybe these are all too popular to do such a thing?

I have booked all my other meals and won't be super disappointed not to do this, but thought it might be worth a shot before we hit Gasparilla for CS?

Something I've done a lot: go on the WDW website and search for dining reservations for today (whatever day you're looking) to see what "last-minute" reservations you could get if you were there right now. I've done it to get a rough idea of what might be available for my arrival night. Do it a lot and you'll see what is usually available.

I'm pretty sure I see same-day availability for Narcoosee's a lot, because I've been there and liked it and would be happy to go back (so it's one I notice).

Fab. That, I think would be my top pick if something were to be open!

How many in your party? Walk up and sitting at the bar is an option. Hubby and I do this all the time instead of making ADRs.

I get these sense that GF Cafe usually has availability. I'd think Citricos would be more doable than Narcoosee's depending on time.

Thank you. We'd be happy with any of the three, so that it might be worth asking is good news.

It is 12:30 pm ET and I just checked ADRs for today. GF Cafe, Citricos and Narcoossee's all have multiple time options for party of 4 around 6 pm today. I know this will vary based on the day, time of year, and luck of the draw, but I bet you should be able to find at least one of these when you want it.

AWESOME!!! Thank you for this! I am totally going to try it out and see what we get!

Why not just check the app when you land, see what's available and book then? No need to wait until you get to the resort.

That's what the Concierge are there for, right (?).

GF Cafe at dinner should be the easiest of the bunch. Citrico's would be next.

Narcoossee's, because it's relatively small and because of the demand to see the fireworks from their porch - would make this the least likely. But if you arrive after the fireworks, your chances increase.

Thank you. I know DH is secretly hoping for Citrico's, but, we really will be happy if we get any one of them. I hoped that it seemed a reasonable concierge ask, but, you know, thought I might get a feel for how likely they were to laugh at me for asking a stupid question...

Citrico's is lovely. It is a favorite for a number of folks who post on Dis'Board.

It may be the 'least Disney' of their Signatures - fewer children, fewer people arriving in Park-attire.

In a general sense, the service & quality at Citrico's match the luxury of the Grand Floridian itself. In my view, V&A is the outlier - everyone knows where a couple is going for dinner seeing a woman wearing a black-dress being escorted by a gentlemen wearing a jacket (in 100 degree Florida).

It never hurts to introduce yourself to the Concierge before your arrival, particularly if their services are being contemplated.

Maybe I might hope for that one too then!

Thank you

We have gotten a lot of hard to get ADR's the day before and day of when people must cancel.
