We went last year and I had really good luck in eating GF at several TS and CS restaurants. This year we upgraded to DxDP and I'm just curious if anyone here has done these restaurants, and what their GF options were. Thanks!

Cinderella's Royal Table - Lunch. Looks like there is a small selection of menu items available - what sort of GF options did you have?

Hoop-De-Doo Review - since this is a set menu (cornbread, ribs, chicken, beans, etc.), do they provide a GF bread or GF chicken or other options?

Spirit of Aloha - same thing. It's a set menu and while the meat options and rice look okay, what sort of GF alternatives do they provide?

I appreciate any assistance you can give me. Thanks!

We ate at all of these places in December.

CRT: We ate dinner. DD12 is a major carnivore so she ate the Prime Rib. That's not on the lunch menu. We chose dinner because I had looked at the menu and I knew we'd all prefer the dinner manu options. They had Enjoy Life chocolate chip cookies available for dessert which was a wonderful treat for both our girls. I believe I've read that they have gluten free pasta. If I remember correctly, the french fries were safe, but DD12 doesn't like steak fries so she didn't want them.

HDDR: They couldn't privide gluten free fried chicken but they did make up some baked chicken. The beans were naturally gluten free. I don't remember if the rib sauce was gluten free or not because my girls prefer sauceless ribs. The rub they use is definitely gluten free. I don't remember any gluten free bread but DD12 can't eat any of the gluten free breads at WDW (she can't have yeast) and DD9 was really tired of Ener-G buns so she wouldn't have eaten them. DD9 was given a couple French Meadow brownies and DD12 I believe had more ice cream (she can't have eggs so FM is out).

SoA: The salad dressing is naturally gluten free I believe but the dressing has citrus so neither of my girls could eat it. They were offered a plain salad with oil and vinegar but they don't like that so they skipped the salad. They were served grilled chicken for their main course. I don't know what GF sides they normally provide but my girls LOVE plain white rice so the chef gladly whipped up a big batch for them. DD9 pigged out on the Ener-G buns. For dessert all they had was dairy free ice cream. I was surprised that they couldn't offer anything else since I know at the Poly there are other options available. Maybe they did offer something else to DD9 but she wasn't feeling well towards the end of the meal (she really overdid the buns but part of me wonders if they accidentally got some citrus in her food or maybe some oj was mixed in the pineapple juice) so I just don't remember.

I wouldn't hesitate to eat at any of these again from an allergy perspective. From a been there, done that perspective, we'll likely only return to HDDR (got our ADR for August already; it was DD9's request for her birthday dinner).

Thanks for the info - I really appreciate it! Last year, I thought it was fairly easy to eat GF, but was just wondering about these restaurants since they all have either a set menu or a fairly limited one (CRT).

While these meals are set menus, I have found that as long as I set it up before hand Disney is more than happy to provide and acceptible alternative for those who need it. I am dairy free as well as diabetic, with the added problem of being unable to use aspartame the normal sugar substitute. Have always been accommodated/
