If you have 5 in your party, then you will definitely get the 2 double beds and the daybed. If you are travelling with 4, then you might not. The smaller dormer rooms located on the top floors sleep 4 and do not have the daybed. If it's something that you'd like, then I'd definitely have that request added to your reservation. As always, they won't guarantee it.
I copied this from another website:
Regular Rooms: Typical guest rooms have two queen sized beds, or one king sized bed, a day-bed, an armoire, a TV, a table with two chairs, a walk-in closet, a mini-bar, a small safe, a coffee-maker, a hairdryer, and double marble sinks in a vanity area separate from the tub and commode. Most rooms lead out onto a patio or balcony. A limited number of handicap accessible rooms are available.
"Dormer" or "attic" rooms at the Grand Floridian are in the upper floors under the gabled roofs. These rooms are slightly smaller than the standard guest rooms but appear larger because the vaulted ceilings. A private balcony compensates for the lack of room size. Dormer rooms sleep 4.
TIP: For a room close to the restaurants, request the main building, Big Pine Key or Sugar Loaf Key. Ask for a room in the main building, Sago Cay, Sugar Loaf key, or Big Pine Key to be close to the monorail or bus. If being close to the pool is your preference, request a room in Boca Chica, Big Pine Key or Sugar Loaf Key.
