GF main building question

We just booked a quick weekend stay in September and decided to stay at the GF since it’s one of the few resorts that we’ve never stayed at before. The only choices I can book are outer buildings. Are their non CL rooms in the main building? I know CL rooms will not be open when we are there (that’s what it looks like is located in the main building) but I was hoping to stay in the main building since mobility is an issue.

Unfortunately, the main building is CL only.

They have been moving people to Main Building rooms without the CL services recently, and will probably continue to do so until CL opens again there on September 16th.

If you are going before then, it probably wouldn’t hurt to note mobility issues in your reservation or even straight up ask upon check-in (you might have to wait a couple more hours for a room to be ready, but only you can determine whether waiting longer to get a room is worth it vs having a more convenient room location for your whole stay). Mobility issues are a legit reason to ask for a move to the main building, at least until it’s CL again and costs $200-400 more than a regular room. I mean it’s not a bookable category right now, but they are still putting people in those rooms, so it’s not like you are asking for something you could have paid extra for otherwise.

They're all club level rooms, but as a PP said, Disney is pixie dusting some guests into those rooms right now while club level services are suspended. It happened to me in March and was a wonderful surprise.
