I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I was thinking about make a ressie for the Tea Room for me and my husband for our next trip. However, the only thing my husband would like there would be the kids menu offerings. Will they allow an adult to get this, as he really doesn't like tea or anything different from an ordinary sandwhich?? Thanks in advance for any information on this.

I don't see why not. I ordered the Grand Tea and subbed out all of the sandwiches with pb&j sandwiches from the kid's menu. I don't eat anything with mayo and I didn't care for the pear/gorganzola or the watercress sandwiches.

I think that he can order a soft drink if he prefers that to tea. They also have a few adult drinks to choose from too.

You can get milk or chocolate milk instead of tea also, if that is his preference--they'll even bring it to you in the fancy teapot!

Some of the sandwiches are kind of "normal." There is an egg salad one, if he likes that. I also remember a fairly plain chicken salad. They'll sub out however you want though. We could not have the shrimp sandwiches at our table because my nephew has a severe crustacean allergy and they were happy to sub in something else. The chef even made him a custom dessert since he could not have anything on the regular menu (he's allergic to eggs also).

It's a very relaxing treat. Give it a try!

Thanks, I will be letting my husband know all the info, so I can talk him into taking me there!!!
