GF garden room or CR Bay Tower Room?

We are going from 11/24 to 11/29 and initially booked POP but DH said we could upgrade.

WL is booked up but we could do GF garden room or a CR bay tower room for the same price. I am very much leaning on GF because I have never stayed there before and it is the holidays but I just wanted some opinions - especially from people who have stayed at both.

I want to know too, we are booked at GF garden view 12/16 to 12/19.

Given that it is during the Christmas season, that would be a fairly easy choice for me, I would go with the GF. I would like to stay at the CR someday, but I can't imagine doing it without being in the Tower, and with the MK view.

Brian, ya, you have to stay at the CR in the tower with a MK view. It is beautiful. My kids LOVE the CR MK view. I have talked them into loving the GF, but the CR is where their hearts are. We'll be back sometime. I agree, though - NO CR garden rooms and NO Bay Lake view. It's a pretty view , but nothing compared to the MK view.

OP, we stayed at teh GF last Xmas & it was gorgeous. We toured the resorts and the CR had a cute Pinocchio display down in the lobby but other than that it was just the standard tree and colored bulb stuff. Nothing spectacular IMO. We have stayed at the CR plenty of times, but for the holidays it just doesn't feel special enough. The GF on the other hand......FABULOUS. There is live music in the lobby and the life size Gingerbread house store and lovely floral arrangements and Xmas decorations. The GF is pretty any time, but decorated for Xmas it is a knockout.

GF, after our last CR stay DH said he's tired of it, he doesn't like the new decor, etc. This time we booked back at WL. GF is one of our favorites though.

thanks everyone - I am going to book GF - I am SO excited. I already booked Narcossee's, 1900 Park Faire and my daughter is doing the cooking class. These are all new to use too and it will be nice no venturing off on cabs or buses to get to dinner all the time.
