GF Dormer Rooms

I will be staying at GF on my next trip, I have stayed here before but never had a dormer room. Has anyone ever had a dormer room- if so- what did you think?

We had one in Dec 2000. I loved the GF but to be honest, found the dormer room a little dark. Having said that I never went in a regular room but I imagine they are lighter.

We had a lagoon/MK view dormer room during our first stay. The dormer rooms are a tiny bit smaller I believe - yet they feel bigger because of their vaulted ceiling. They only sleep four (compared to five in a regular room), so if we went back we would need a standard as there are five of us now. If you are planning on staying in the Main Building, you can only get a standard room (I don't think there are any dormer rooms available here).

The best thing about the dormer rooms is that they feature large balconies and picture windows which are very private comapred to the regular balconies.
