GF Concierge - Scones

Do they have the wonderful scones and jelly tarts in the concierge lounge at the GF?

We didn't see them when we were there last year...but maybe they were all gone when we were in the lounge!

I bet if you asked for some they'd make them magically appear LOL. they have a way of doing that at GF concierge

I just had to comment that the scones at the GF tea were some of the best scones I've ever had! (and that includes tea time in London and Paris!) Today at the grocery store my DS just had to put some in the cart from our bakery since he heard his sister and I raving about them. Alas, they don't taste nearly as good. Guess we'll have to plan another trip!

I was just at Sugar Loaf concierge this past Friday and they definitely had scones in the lounge (every day we were there). I love those too! The jelly tarts were not at the lounge every day, but they were there at least one or two of the days that we stayed. Other days they had stuff like English trifle or little fresh fruit tarts that are also served in the tea room. Wish I was still there. Have a good trip!

Warm scones are available daily in the GF concierge lounge during afternoon tea (3-4:30pm). As another poster mentioned, on different days trifle, jelly tarts and I believe cookies were there also. This would be the same in both the main building and sugar loaf.

They had scones at breakfast one day when we were there in April.

I guess we never there for the afternoon tea. But we more than made up for it later in the evening....I still dream about the raspberry mousse in the chocolate cup......

Wow, there is so much to tell about GF concierge! I can just say that everyone was really nice and helpful. The food was good and there was always enough. As I've said, I really loved the scones and other treats there. Also, one day they had meatball stuffed mushrooms and some sort of goat cheese that was really good. I also particularly loved the spinach avocado dip. They also usually had peanut butter sandwiches on raisin bread or turkey rolls. Food there is served until 7, although I know for sure that one night, they left cookies and lemonade out until about 9. I can just say that, even though I stayed 4 different places this trip that I loved (POFQ, Ft. W, Poly Concierge, and GF Concierge), I still think that my absolute favorite is the GF, and especially the concierge! This is the second time we have done GF concierge, and the 5th time we have done the GF, and they just make you feel really special.
