I'm sure these have been answered somewhere, but not sure where. We are planning a big family trip for spring break 2008. We have decided on GF concierge. Here come the questions...

What's the difference between lodge concierge and main building concierge?
Any first floor rooms? We will need 4 rooms. Would like to have connecting (I know not all four, just 2 and 2). Is there anything special I should know? We've done concierge at BW and the Polynesian, but not at the GF. Are certain floors better than others, etc. Any help would be great! My m-i-l is waiting on my answers...
Thanks!:)

Basically the only difference in the two is location. Lodge concierge is in Sugar Loaf. The lounge there is on the first floor as are the CM desks. In the main building, the CMs are on the 3rd floor and lounge on the 4th. Things are much more spread out. One advantage of the main building's location is that you can hear the live music from the 2nd floor. One disadvantage is the elevators which seem to be possessed.:rotfl:

There are first floor rooms in Sugar Loaf. RPC in the main building has rooms on floors 3-5 plus one wing on 2nd. We've had connecting rooms in SL but I have no idea how many there are...my guess would be quite a few. I would think the same in RPC but don't know.

Oh, views in SL are either marina or courtyard. In RPC they can be courtyard, marina with a view of the MK beyond or lagoon view toward the Polynesian and wedding chapel. I think some may also face the monorail but have never heard...where's Tammi or Cali?

I'm sure others will be along to help. Happy planning!

I have never stayed sugar loaf only RPC twice and LOVE it! I love being able to listen to the piano from the lounge and sit by the window in the morning and look out on the courtyard. I also just like beingi n the main building "close to the action" ya know? the views are by request only. the rooms on the second floor wing all all honeymoon rooms if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure how they handle side by side room requests, maybe someone else knows about that better. hope you have a great time!

The rooms that face the poly and the wedding pavilion also have a view of the monorail as it is approaching the GF. Its a great view so I wouldn't feel bad if I didnt have the MK view.

I have 3 rooms booked for our grand gathering this august and requested connecting (for 2 of the rooms).
