I posted this before, but can't find it now, so I apologize for the repeat. Here are the questions:

What's the difference between the lodge concierge and the out building (Sugar Loaf Key??) concierge?

Is one better than the other, i.e. more amenities?

Are there any first floor concierge rooms, and if so, where are they located?

We will need 4 rooms--with 2 connecting. I'm assuming this is possible if available. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that is all. I can look other places for the offerings, etc. , but if there is anything else you would like to add, that would be great! Thanks, and I'll make sure I subscribe this time...;)

No difference with the basic amenities, i.e. food, liquor, staff. Sugar Loaf only offers garden or marina views and the lounge setup is much different. My opinion is that Sugar Loaf (lodge concierge) feels more like a bed & breakfast, while the main building (RPC) has a definite ambiance to it.

Is one better than the other, i.e. more amenities?
Main building has a better location in terms of the monorail being right there, as well as most of the restaurants and lounge. Views that can be requested include lagoon, garden and MK. I prefer the main building to Sugar Loaf really just because of the ambiance. Being able to sit in the club level lounge in the evenings, sipping on a glass of champagne and hearing the GF Orchestra playing on the balcony below you.

Are there any first floor concierge rooms, and if so, where are they located?
Sugar Loaf is all concierge and they do have ground floor rooms. The main building rooms are only located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor (some honeymoon suites are on the 2nd floor in a private area).

We will need 4 rooms--with 2 connecting. I'm assuming this is possible if available. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's certainly a request you can make, although the 4 rooms will not all connect with each other. There's no way to guarantee they'll be connecting though.

Thanks so much for the information. I know not all 4 will connect--I would just like 2 and 2 together. If we were to go with the main building concierge--are there any rooms on the first floor? I prefer to be up higher, but M-i-L doesn't want to have to use the elevator.

Thanks again, Tammi, for your help.

Sorry Kaye, the rooms in the main building begin on the 3rd floor and go up to the 5th. I imagine for safety reasons, there's a staircase somewhere that you can access with your room key. We've only used the elevators though and there's a slot to slide your room key into to access the private floors.

Thanks again...I will pass the information along.

We have stayed concierge at Boardwalk and our fave, the Polynesian several times. The pictures I've seen of the GF concierge seem to resemble the BW more than the Poly, but as far as I'm concerned, it's all fabulous. Thanks again.:goodvibes
