just back from a multi day stay at GF
I ate breakfast in GF Cafe twice ..... {alone}
- eating around 8:30 the place was EMPTY and the full brunch menu available
- Had steak and eggs one day and eggs/sausage/bacon the other
- biscuits came with both meals
- I had an eggs selection and iced tea .....
not a bad meal but after tip it comes to about $30 ..... breakfast for one and nothing special ....... curiously there would be more options on the buffet in Park Fare but it is $10 more and all I wanted was a meal not characters . . . why isn't there a 'no characters' buffet???????
************
p.s. had breakfast from the adjacent counter service the next two days and there were borderline inedible .... had the breakfast wrap and was not impressed, next day the cros' sandwich was a bit better but the reall issue was the 'tater tots' or what ever they call 'em. They were rocks that if you tried to stab with a fork just exploded into dry bits. I gave it a humm the first day but the second day was no better . . . come on Disney, you used to be WAY better than this.

service was attentive (not many other customers) but for ME it just re enforced how wildly overpriced food in Disney has become while 'quality' is a suggestion and not a goal or achievement.
Had dinner at both Narc' and Cit' in GF and the only thing that WOW'd me was the bill . . . not bad meals, but I've had much better for much less within 10 miles of the Kingdom . . . .
and don't even ASK about my trip to Rag' at Disney Springs ...... arrived 10 minutes early for a reservation .... waited an hour to be seated and then at a table where ... welllllllll, I was told there was a show in the other room. We could see a leg or two and heard music . . .
