Will DVC not allow pool hopping to GF once the GFV is completed?

I would bet on it. It looks nice.

And they are completing the main pool as well. It should be finished soon.

We were down last week. The area looked like a lot of fun for kids, there were a few splashing around having a great time.

I do think pool hopping to the GF pools will be prohibited soon. I've found the pools to be busy on past stays there, so I'm a bit concerned of how 147 villas will impact the amenities.
