Can anyone give me details about the afternoon tea at the GF? It reads on the Disney website like a full service tea at a set time for one price. I called WDW-DINE and was given a wide range of ala carte prices and times from 2:00 to 4:00. That just doesn't seem like I'm getting the full story. Thanks for your help.

There are staggered PS time from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

There is an ala carte menu which feature many choices, some are multiple courses, while others are truly ala carte.

It's a wonderful experience.

To add my two cents, it was a great experience to try. It was a fun ladies afternoon. Allow time to tour the GF if you haven't before it is a beautiful resort (or maybe you can sneak in a spa trip)

Here's another vote to give it a try. I took my two nieces (age 4) and they had a ball. Got all dressed up and used their best table manners. They still talk about their Mrs. Potts' tea. It was a very relaxing afternoon.

I went with my mother in '99 and then again just last week. I had the Buckingham Palace selection, very good. I love how relaxing the tea is. I went at 2:00, the next seating was at 3:15, I was there long enough to have 2 pots of tea. They do not rush you at all.

Do you need a ps for the tea? My mil wants to do this in Nov., but I think she wants to play it by ear and pick a time while we're there. Thanks!

The last three times I've been to tea (two in very off seasons/days) they were not seating anyone without a PS.

We walked in last October and got seated right away. They were pretty busy but we must have come in at just the right time. There were 4 of us and we figured we'd see if we could get in, if not no big loss. We're glad we did! It was a wondeful experience!! I'd love to do it again but I'd make sure I had a PS this time. Enjoy!
