GF Afternoon Tea..proper attire?

Next Friday, dd (6) and I will be at Magic Kingdom all morning and have a 2:20 ADR for the afternoon tea at the GF. Is there a dress code?

I will be in capris, sandals and a top, and dd probably in one of her little princess dresses since it's our first day at MK. Will that be appropriate?

Yes, your description sounds completely appropriate. We've had tea numerous times over the years, and we see a variety of dress, from the Red Hat ladies in their dresses and hats, to park goers in t-shirts and shorts. I don't think there is a dress code per se; as long as everyone dresses in clean, non-offensive attire, it's all good. Enjoy tea with your little princess!

I am so glad this question was asked....My DMIL, DD6, DD8, and myself are going to be having tea on our MK day as well on our upcoming trip. We have a 2pm ADR and I wasn't sure what would be appropiate. I am planning on putting my kid's outfits (skirts and tops) in my bag and then have them change when we get to GF. I will already be in Capris and a top, and probably some sandals.

I think any dress except bathing suits is allowed. When I went in February, I was in jeans & top because it was chilly. I saw other vistors dress up and jucst coming from the park. I also saw a group come in for a baby shower. Enjoy you visit! I cannot wait to go back in September

I agree with the PP, I have gone in jeans and in capri's....some people dress up if its an occasion, but park clothes will be just fine.

We do the afternoon tea every year, and we typically just go straight from the parks to the tea wearing our park attire. There are a few people that tend to be dressed up a bit more than us, but typically i just see t shirts and shorts!
