Cast: Darlene and I escaping a winter storm. Almost stayed the night before at airport Radisson/Holiday Inn select.
FLight: ATA, had extended security delay concourse B/C at Indy. Would have missed flight if it wans't delayed for de-icing.
Rental: L&M, no problems.
Lodging: VWL, had handicapped access studio 4546. No bathtub, less counter/closet space which was no big deal since we were without children in tow. Wonderful setting as always.
Parks: No long waits this week following Presidents day week.
Meals: Roaring forks pizza, Lecellier lunch, Columbia harbor lunch, Epcot fish/chips, Artist Point Berry cobbler all very good. Grilled filets one night, lobster tails another. Made nachos, shrimp cocktail, chef salads in room.
Especially enjoyed: Hanging out at the pool/beach, Epcot performers, great weather, fireworks after dinners.
Other: Sam's club/Winn dixie enroute from airport worked well. Belz has 2 character stores near each other. Ohana's has key lime pie but you cannot order without the whole dinner. For us, California grill seemed loud, Artist point seemed bright, but Lecellier's atmosphere was just right. Chili's in the airport was a nice alternative to fast food.
