Hi I just got my new Gevalia coffee maker by UPS. I got it online for the 15$ for the maker, 2 things of coffe, 2 mugs and a scoop.

Does anyone else have it and do they like it? It seemed like a good deal and I had heard the coffee is very good.

I have a small maker that does 4 cups total and that is perfect for DH and to have a mug each, but I sometimes like to make more when guests are over.

So tell me about it if you have tried it and if you like it.

I will let you know after I have tried it a bit.

Thanks. :goodvibes

(I really should of asked this question before I ordered it. ;) Oh well.)

I am not sure which one you have, but my first coffee maker was from Gevalia about 8 years ago and it was great! My second coffee maker is from....Gevalia and I love it too! The first was a 10-cup white plain jane one, but the one I have now is a black 6-cup maker with two travel stainless steel mugs on each side (one for me and one for dh :goodvibes ) We love it and it makes one side or both depending on what we need.

I still use my old 10-cup maker when we have guests! I think you will love yours. ;)

I have one the black 10 cup one and it is great! Their coffee is really good to! It is a great deal! :) Enjoy!

Mine says 12 cups on it, black. Very nice. I saw the travel on in the info they sent with it. I know they sell them in store for much more.

Here is the website if anyone is interested.

I guess there are a couple different deals out there. What I like is there is no oblagation after you get it. You can cancel any time. (I might.)

Do you guys continue to get coffee every so often or just cancel right away?

Mine is probably 12 cup too, I got it a few months ago! I canceled my account because we had so much coffee before I signed up for it, but would consider reactivating my account when I run low on coffee!

I have the one that was 19.99. It is a black/stainless 12 cup prgrammable pot. It came with a travel mug and 4 boxes of coffee. I cancelled the membership as soon as I got it. The coffee is soooo good, but too expensive for me. The pot is so nice and I love it. I like to set it before bed so the coffee is ready when I get up.

Gevalia coffe is my one splurge on me. I can't stand other coffees and would rather go without it than drink most brands. I've been a customer for years and have never had a bad batch. I don't have the 12-cup brewer b/c I'm the only coffee drinker in the house so we need a smaller pot. I have the original 4-cup coffeemaker that I got from them years ago (I guessing about 8 years?). I love it.

that's how I get all of my coffee pots! whenever I need a new one, I sign up for Gevalia and then cancel right away. the coffee is very good, not quite up to what I usually buy though. I am pleased with the pot, I have the 12-cup black programmable one now. it makes nice hot coffee. I had a 4 cup one for many years when I was single, it finally died. My parents had the insulated carafe pot for several years, between us I think we've had them all.

about 12-13 years ago, a friend of mine was traveling to visit friends from college in Central America. Small appliances were very expensive there at hte time(don't know about now) so a bunch of us all ordered free coffee pots, and he took them as gifts for everyone.

I used to get Gevalia coffee exclusively, and then I discovered Dunkin' Donuts Coffee. It's soooo good. They have a subscription service like Gevalia, although they don't have the selection (or the free coffeemaker) but I get just good basic coffee and it's half the price.

In my area, it's cheaper to go to the Dunkin Donuts store and buy the coffee than using the subscription service.

Ok, Verdit is in. I tried it (a number of times.) and I LOVE it. Great coffee, great machine, over all very good. Not sure if I will keep the suscribtion (I might order a few more packages and cancel.)

My biggest problem now is it is so big I don't only make one cup, I make a few and drink it all day. At least I am drinking decafe and it feels good on my slighly sore thoat today. :goodvibes

rflorek, I refuse to go in a Dunkin Dougnuts since I can't have eggs or milk (food allergy) and it would be too temping. I don't know if they do soy lattes, anyone know?
