hey howoften do people get upgraded on the 7 western im going sept 10/05?
I have a Cat 11, and booked in Feb does booking earlier help your chances at all?
do upgrades happen afew days b4 set sail sometimes?

Im hoping to get a outside room :)
what are my chance?
and idea thanks 4 the help :)

We used points for our last cruise -- no upgrade. But we were pleasantly surprised that out category 11 was very roomy and comfortable and we actually ended up liking the darkness of the inside cabin!

Boy, I would be really surprised if you were upgraded at all, let alone from an inside cabin to an outside cabin. But miracles to happen so keep your fingers crossed! Sending lots of pixie dust your way...:goodvibes

Upgrades are usually given to help sell out the boat, Disney has no trouble filling up boats.

But miracles do happen.

so if i had a porthole, i would probably have a better chance of getting upgraded to a verandah, that happened to us lasttime, i think portholes rooms are probably the easiest to sell...

Portholes start at category 9 (except for the 6 category 10 "Secret Porthole" rooms). For March, we were lucky enough to get an SPH for our spring break Magic trip.
Also, my wife and I are going on a 3 day Wonder cruise on 9/8 for our 23rd anniversary (leaving DD13 and DD 8 home with Grandma). We booked a GTY 12 and just found out we are in 5006 - a category 8.

WOO HOO! :cool1:

We booked a GTY 12 last September and got a 10. However we did not find out until we received our docs about 2 weeks before the cruise. Good luck! I hope you get an upgrade!
