We want to try out Universal Studios while in Orlando but will not have a car. What would you all suggest to be the easiest way to go and least expensive:

1. Rent a car for the day.
2. A taxi.
3. Mears Shuttle.

Any other ideals. ???

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How many people? That's going to make a difference. Mears will charge by the person. Renting a car may or may not be the best use of your time (getting it picked up and returned can be a pain, believe me I've done it before.)

You might check out FLTOURS. They sponsor the Transportation area of this site. I saw an ad for their price and it seemed reasonable specially since they have nice cars and you'd be their only customer. I've used Andy and his company and have been very happy with them.

There wil be five in our group.

We are renting a van to go from the HRH to Epcot for the food and wine festival so the price for you to rent a 10 person van should be the same. Its only $70 plus a 20% tip for a round trip. We are using www.tiffanytowncar.com, we have used them for the last 2 years because they provide wonderful service. ;)

My DH & I will be going to Universal from POP. We opted to rent a car, Alamo has a good weekend deal. $75 for 3 days. You can get the car onsite, Alamo and National are located in WDW.
