Getting to the Walt Disney World Speedway

I need to know the best way to get to the Walt Disney World Speedway. I bought my husband the Richard Petty Rookie Experience for Christmas and he and his friends are booked on January 25th. Are there any Disney buses that go there or am I on my own finding transportation there? Thanks in advance.

I bought my husband the Rookie Experience for our Anniversary last year. He did it in May and is still talking about it! Your husband will have an awesome time-I guarantee it.

The easiest way to get to the Speedway is to go to the Ticket and Transportation Center. In one area of the parking lot is the WDW Kennels. Just wait right there. That is where a van will pick you up and take you to the Speedway right from there. I think they do pickups and dropoffs like every 15-20 minutes or so. There's a couple of signs right by the kennel itself that relate to the Speedway.

Have fun! If you get the chance-do a ride along while your husband gets ready for the Rookie Experience-lots of wives (and husbands) were doing that!

I would call them and they will tell you what time they should be at the pick up area. And don't be late! DH took the monorail from the GF and it kept stopping so he was late. I had to call them from the hotel and they sent someone to pick him and another late arrival.
