Getting to the sports complex

So I don't really want to stay at Pop or CBR because of all the construction. What other resorts provide transportation to the sports complex would I have to transee busses

Another option (which is not economical), would be to stay at a resort very close to a theme park. For example, if you stayed at any of the monorail resorts, you could probably take the bus there from MK.

That's shocking. I figured the most famous/central location would have had it. My bad!

Honestly -- pay for an Uber or taxi. WDW transportation options to WWoS are lousy. Maybe it's better if you are actually an athlete participating in an event, but as a spectator you can waste a lot of time riding around, transferring and waiting for buses. Definitely worth whatever fare is charged to avoid the aggravation -- and this coming from someone who always uses WDW transportation everywhere.

What event are you trying to get to? That will be the big difference.

I agree it matters what you are going for. When we went with baseball, we did all stay at CBR, but regular busses were provided all week for just the tournament- these looked like non-Disney busses and picked up in a different location than your normal busstop. If you are not staying with the team, it is going to be much less convenient for transportation as the even caters to where the teams are staying.
