Getting to the parks early.

If the park opens at 9, and I want get in right away, must I be there earlier than that? Do long lines form? Do I need to be there at 8 or earlier?

Usually 8:30am is good. It really depends on the park, the crowds that day, transportation etc.

personally, I like to get there no more than :15 min max. because they hold you at the entrance or an area where you can't go anywhere anyway....

If the park opens at 9 I would get there around 8:30-8:45 just when lines are forming or fairly small.

i see that you've been to pop century a few times i gather that is a good sign! i'm staying there jan 2007 any good tips?

We try to aim for 15-30 minutes depending on the time of year. During the busy months we will be closer to 30 minutes. This will ensure that we get through the parking lot, security tables and ticket sales areas and be closer to the turnstyles.
