I just wanted to double check this and see if there were any other ways to get to the parks... If I'm reading this correctly, the only direct boat is to MK, the only direct bus is to AK? Can you take the boat anyplace else to catch the Monorail to Epcot? It looks like it maybe a pain in the rear to get to Ep and HS... Thoughts? Suggestions?

From the DIS Transportation page, directly copy/pasted...

To get to:

Magic Kingdom - take an internal bus to the marina and take the Magic Kingdom boat

Epcot - take an external bus to the TTC and take the Epcot monorail

Disney Hollywood Studios - take an external bus to the TTC and take the Disney Hollywood Studios bus

Disney's Animal Kingdom/Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park - take an internal bus to the Settlement Depot and take the Disney's Animal Kingdom/Disney's Blizzard Beach bus

Downtown Disney Marketplace, Downtown Disney West Side, or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon - take an external bus to the TTC and take a bus from there.

You don't have to go to the TTC...buses run straight from the outpost for all destinations. (except MK)

If you are hotsietotsie about riding the monorail, take the boat to the CR get on the monorail there and transfer to the EPCOT line at the TTC.

No, there are buses from the Outpost to all parks except MK... that includes the water parks and Downtown Disney. You just have to take an internal bus to the outpost.

Whew thanks! When I saw that on the DIS transportation page for the Ft I was like oh crap.

The DIS definitely needs to fix that!!

We enjoy taking the boat to MK, pop in for a quick walk around and some rides, then take monorail to TTC and then transfer to the Epcot monorail. Nothing like starting the day at the Happiest Place On Earth and then going on an around the world trip all within a few hours.

Sometimes we will take the Orange bus to WL and then transfer to the MK bus. This can be faster than the boat when timing is just right.

ALthough the bus may be faster, that's how we typically head to Epcot.

My son is always hotsietotsie about the monorail, so we hardly ever take the bus to epcot. Sometimes we don't even make it to epcot, we just ride the monorail all day.
