getting to the Parisian Breakfast - a few questions

Our first time doing the food & wine Parisian Breakfast. I see it starts at 9:00. We are staying off site. Our plan is to Uber to the boardwalk hotel and make our way to the international gateway. I have a few questions:

1) Will we run into any issues being dropped off at the hotel?

2) If it is hot we may want to take the boat from the boardwalk. Do they start running at 8:00?

3) Based on past experience how early should we plan on being back at the IG? How early will we be allowed to enter? My husband walks slowly and will need at least one break so it takes about 15 minutes for us to get from the IG to France.

4) hoping tables are assigned so there would be no reason to "rush" for a place in line. Is this correct?

1. No, but I would suggest you go to the Beach Club instead, I think it's closer!

2. Not sure.

3. They will not start seating until 9. They will let you over the bridge about 8:45 or so?

3. Yes, they are assigned, People just rush to get to the mimosas!

I would also opt to dropped of at the Beach Club; it's about 0.2 miles from the entrance (where valet is located) to the IG. If you do go to the Beach Club, taking the boat really isn't an option because you'd have to head back to the Yacht Club to get to the boat (so you wouldn't be saving much walking time/distance). I don't recall what time the boats start running (we usually walk in the morning).

When we got to the International Gateway entrance, there were two lines of guests. A security Cast Member was telling folks that the line to the right (heading to bag check) was for guests of the Parisian Breakfast and the line to the left was for everyone else. We got in line and a little before the event was slated to start, they started letting guests into Epcot. The bridge that leads from the UK to France was still roped off, but that is where the guests entering from International Gateway and from the front of the park met up. Once the rope was opened (at about 9:00 am), everyone headed to Les Chefs de France. There was a long line to get into the restaurant, but it moved quickly.

Yes, tables were preassigned. The lines for the buffet built up pretty quickly (as soon as guests are seated at their tables, they're encouraged/invited to head to the buffet). So if you're towards the back of the seating line, you'll probably encounter a lengthy line at the buffet initially. I felt like there was plenty of time during the event to eat, but at first the line was long. They did provide mimosas as soon as we got to the table and they kept refilling them throughout the event.

Thanks for all the above info - just made our reservation for the breakfast on 10/29!!! I plan on taking Uber to the BC - we've done it before and it's the easiest way into Epcot! (Shhhhh!) Last year, the fare was under $7 from OKW.

We love Uber! We were just down, staying at the Yacht Club and used it a lot! Staying off property it is a must! Makes for a great vacation.

We are staying on site but opting to take a cab to Beach Club and walk over ourselves Definitely recommend Beach Club more than Boardwalk.

Enjoy the breakfast! Did it a few years back and the two ladies at our table, my husband and I closed out the breakfast. They eventually said they needed to finish off the wine bottles and just gave us the straight champagne

I have a feeling my (adult) daughter and I will give that a try - sounds like a great way to finish up! 77 days to go!
