We are arriving at WDW tommorow, and would like to go to the Boardwalk for dinner ( no reservations) My question is how do we get to the Boardwalk from POP ? We have a car but dont think we can park at the Boardwalk hotels with out a reservation. Would rather take a bus if possible. We do not have park tickets for tommorow so we cant go thru Epcot. Thanks in advance.

Uber or taxi or bus to Disney Springs/Boardwalk Inn. 20 min for the first two options or around 90 min (it can vary a lot depending on many factors) for the buses.

I've never been asked to show my reservation when I go in for dinner at any resort and need to park. Than again I also have tiw so it's free valet and I do that but still never needed to show my reservation to get through the security stop.

You would likely have no problems parking at one of the Boardwalk lots.

OTOH, if you want to use Disney transportation:
Bus to DHS park (no park ticket is needed.)
Then, take the Friendship boat or walk to Boardwalk.

Not sure if the sign is gone but when we were at BWV last week they had one of those huge electronic construction signs near the entrance to BWV/BWI stating that there was no parking there without a hotel or restaurant reservation. I was assuming it was due to F&W and the extreme abuse of those who park there to access World showcase.

When we have tried to park at a hotel in early Dec. we were told to turn around and no parking for non-reservation guests. I think it's most prevalent at hotels within walking/monorail to the parks. Best bet is the HS route.

@WebmasterDoc can we combine or lock all but one of these threads? They've posted same thing in at least 3 places on the forums.

who cares. I have done the same thing because sometimes I would like input from different audiences. I.e. Posting about the BW resort on both the DVC section and the resort section. Sometimes one forum gets more traffic and input than another. Really no harm to anyone

Fastest would be driving your car and valet parking, or taking uber or a taxi. If you choose the bus you can take it to DHS and either walk or take the Friendship Boat to the BW.

We stayed at the BWI last week and there are signs at the entrance to the parking lot limiting the self parking to registered BWI & BWV guests and to those who have reservations at the restaurants.

I hope this wasnt against some rule I was unaware of, I posted it in 3 places because I wasnt sure where it belonged. Sorry Happyhaunt 999 if this offended you

Thank you, we have eaten at Cape May with reservations years ago and had to show them to park at The Beach Club, so I wasnt sure . Thanks for the info,

Thank you, I think this is what we will do. I am so excited to be back there tomorrow. We are only staying for a week but we will make the most of it. :)

I just got home from 7 nights at BWV. Parking is tight. The electronic sign says hotel guests, restaurant reservations, event guests. The lot across the street has a sign "lot closed" with a guard. I had a rental car and was pleased that I did not have problems finding a close space all week.
