Getting to Soarin' from Int'l Gateway/BC

Did you get your fastpass first and then head for the ride? With our family my son usually is the one that grabs the fastpasses while the rest of us head for the ride so that way we can get on it twice.
So I'm assuming with this new ride that nobody heads for Test Track or Mission Space first?
I also think taking advantage of the early morning opening would help. Did anybody find that it did?

The fastpass machines are right next to the standby entrance, so DH would grab the fastpasses first, and we would all go in at the same time to the standby entrance.

No Soarin isn't open for EMH (early or late) and yes, the evening hours are just for resort guests.

Actually, Soarin' is open for both EMHs, morning and evening. We did the morning ones but we saw it was definitely open for evening ones too.

Sorry, I was going by the list posted on the disneyworld website. We were never at Epcot for either EMH and I was surprised it wasn't on the list. That's good to know.

That's OK... I think WDW forgot to update their EMH list since it opened.

Yes, it's just past the McD fries stand if you're coming from Canada.

I'm glad you told me. I was thinking there went my plan to try to take advantage for the EM hours and I had printed the list awhile ago as to what was and was not open during their special hours and Soarin is not listed so I'm glad to hear this. I wonder what else on this list is wrong?

Good point. A lot of benefits are lost because too many try to "beat" the system.
