Hi We are set to go on the Illuminations Cruise leaving from the YC/BC. What is the best way for us to get back from there to the POLY ???

Quickest and easiest would be a taxi cab from the YC or BC Bell Desk. They can call one for you no problem - that would certainly be easiest.

Next best, depending on when Magic Kingdom closes, would be to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then hop the monorail over to the Poly).

However, if MGM is open late that night, you also have the option of a stroll and/or ferry ride to MGM and catch the bus to the Poly.

Hope this helps.

thats a good idea and you might think to ask extremely nicely if after illuminations is over if the driver would drop you off at mgm I know they bring you down before going to the bridge at Epcot and maybe you might luck out and have a nice enough driver to do so.

We walked back through Epcot - they let us come back through the IG and took the monoail to the TTC and then walked back - you could also transfer and take a monorail to the Poly as well.

That's assuming the OP was in Epcot that day or has hoppers. :)

Actually no because after the cruise the park is closed so the ticket counters aren't working (unless its a extra hours night). At any rate our night we just went back to the IG and walked in ... the boat captain said no one would say a thing but if they did just let them know we had been on the cruise and going back through for transportation.

Granted I am sure they would not allow you entrance without a ticket and resort ID on an extra hours night.
