Getting to Orlando Early.. TownePlace Experiences? Fireworks?

We're going to be getting to Orlando at least a day before we check into AoA so we will need a room. I've been looking and TownePlace by Marriott @ Flamingo Crossing keeps coming up. Anyone have good or bad experiences? Can you really see the fireworks? TIA!

Hi, I didn't exactly stay there, but I recently stayed at their twin hotel, the SpringHill Suites @ Flamingo Crossing, which shares the same parking lot, swimming pool, and restaurant. One evening I did see the fireworks off in the distance, from the parking lot. In case it matters to you, TownePlace Suites is pet-friendly; SpringHill Suites is not.

We stayed at either the TownePlace Suites or the SpringHill Suites in March and loved the location! The hotel was pretty much brand new then so was very nice. We didn't try to view the fireworks from there - sorry.
