This will be our first trip to Disneyland and we want to try N and Out Burger. We are staying at Paradise Pier Hotel. I am trying to decide on the best way to get to N and Out Burger without a car. Should I use UBER, a taxi, or the bus? I am a single parent traveling with a 13 and 15 year old so I am unsure of using UBER or a taxi unless someone can tell me of their experience? I did read that the bus stops in front of N and Out located near Target. Any feedback / advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Eek...we drove to get In N Out Burger the other night (leaving when California Adventure closed). It took 15 minutes of driving to get there, and about 13 to get back. That was the one on State College Blvd. There is one straight down Harbor Blvd and Orangethorpe. The ART may go near that one. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

It also depends on the time you go to In n Out there may or may not be a line; usually the drive through line, it tends to sometimes obstruct traffic during the peak times.

This is the address for the location in Fullerton:
1180 S. Harbor Blvd.
Fullerton, CA 92832
1-800-786-1000

I think the OCTA bus goes right by there, but I don't know how long the round trip would take. The location on Ball Rd. and State College is closest to the parks. Some people think it is a walkable distance. But after a day in the parks, many people don't feel up to walking there and back. I would go with Uber or Lyft.

It looks like the closest In N Out to Paradise Pier is at this location: 1168 S State College Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92806
I did a quick Uber fare estimator and it looks like it will be $6-8 each way, plus a tip. I personally have only had good experiences with Uber and if it's worth the extra $15 or so for you then it's going to be the most direct way to get to the restaurant and back without worrying about a bus schedule. You could also look at Lyft, which is a similar ride share app that offers a lot of discount coupons, especially when you first sign up.

Uber...it is easy peasy. This would be a great opportunity to learn how to use them and they are all over the resort area.

Really....once you do it you will be "wow, that was easy"

You Uber there, eat at your leisure then request another Uber when you are ready to return.

Yeah the Fullerton one is closest and Uber is probably the best bet. Fullerton is a college town, and that In-N-Out is right next to a movie theater, it's a pretty busy location. I used to live down the street.

Thanks for the suggestions regarding the transportation options. I will probably give Uber a try. I don't really want to bother with a bus schedule.

Which In n Out Burger is closer to a Walmart? The Fullerton one or the College St?
Going to In N Out our first night and wanted to grab some stuff from Walmart also. Thanks

Some advice for IN-N-Out

Don't go if you don't like toppings on your burger.
For example, if you order it plain with just burger and cheese, you take off more than two vegetables, or you add ketchup. DON'T GO, you won't see what the big deal is.

How to order a burger like a pro...
Asking for any burger "Animal Style" is the key. It sounds weird and odd to say but it is the better version of the burger (it's double the toppings, grilled onions, plus updated spread, and pickles)

How to order the healthy burger...
Any burger, ask for "Protein Style" (same as all burgers but missing the bun and instead wrap it in lettuce)

How to order with no meat...
This is usually the Grilled Cheese option. Never had it but heard its good.

How to order fries...
The fries can be a bit on the soft side. If you like them crispy, ask for "well-done fries".
There are also "Animal Fries" but I am not a fan (Fries with Thousand Island dressing and onions on top)

How to select your drink...
The typical soda options are ok, but to me, the Pink Lemonade goes very well with the burgers. Get a shake for dessert

Some cool facts to look out for...
- It was a Southern California only restaurant until 1990, when they opened a location in Las Vegas.
- Each wrapper and cup have a bible verse labeled on it.
- Each In-N-Out location has two palm trees that cross each other. Signifying X marks the spot.

FYI... it's not N and Out

We love in and out (only fast food we'll eat), but I wouldn't go way out of your way like that to get it.
