Getting to MK on marathon weekend

Hi gang. Been a couple years since I have posted (sorry) , and I not only forgot my pw but also changed emails about 5 times so I had to create this new acct lol.


Annnnnnyway....

I was wondering if anyone had experience getting to mk from offsite on marathon weekend ?

We have a dining res for crystal palace on Saturday jan 10 at 8:05...

My question is, can you even get to the mk lot on Saturday? If not what do you suggest? I know it's only the half, but just wondering what to expect and If we have to park somewhere else..

I would just park at Epcot and take the monorail over,the monorail will be running from the middle of the night bringing runners over to Epcot for the start of the race and also shuttling spectators over to MK to see the runners inside MK.It's also cool to see the runners from the monorail.The last runners start around 6:30am and MK is between mile 5-6 so you should definitely see the last runners running through as well as avoid any kind of issue with the road on the way to MK.You might even get free parking at Epcot if you arrive early enough.I'll be running that day and given my corral start time and my pace I think I'll be entering MK around 7am.
