Getting to MK from GF, but staying at Dolphin

Mom (84) likes to see the Grand Floridian on every trip, she loves their decorations, and this is a short, weekend trip. We are staying at the Dolphin and have PS at the character meal at the GF at 5 before we go to MNSSHP on Halloween. What is the best way to do this, transportation wise? We have a car. Will we be able to valet park at GF and monorail over to the party and come back to GF, or is there a time limit to stay there if you only have dinner reservations?

There is a limited time (3 hours, I think) that you are allowed to park in a resort parking lot if you are not staying there. The best thing to do would be to park in the MK parking lot, then get on the Resort monorail and take it to the GF. Then after dinner, take the monorail over to MK, then after the party take the express monorail back to the MK parking lot.

Thank you, BrianD. I wasn't sure if the Resort monorail always stopped at that transportation center.
