I just booked what we think will be an awesome behind-the-scene tour to finish off our 2 week vacation in November (did the keys-to-the-kingdom last time early on and hubby was "sad") The lovely CM who helped me book it gave me what i know isn't "kosher" advice on how to get to the gates in time. And i QUOTE "Go to the Contemporary and tell the guard you are going on a tour and they'll let you park there" SERIOUSLY??? what is the PROPER way to do this?? I know that parking is at a premium for resort guests so there is NO WAY I'm leaving the car there!!
We will be driving since hubby doesn't like to take Disney transportation from our resort just as a head's up. I KNOW we will need to get to the gate BEFORE the monorail is running due to the current schedule. SO what are our options?? I "think" i read that there is a bus from the TTC right now?? (that cracks me up since the public transit system in the closest city to us is called the TTC --Toronto Transit Commission
)

I know most people frown on driving to MK, but trust me, it is sooo much better than dealing with his aversion to buses!!
, in fact i rely on public transit as my sole method of getting around. Can't explain it really, he just likes to be able to decide when to come & go. Me, i just sit in the passenger seat calling out directions .... my goodness Disney excels at making road signs disappearing just BEFORE the turn
