Here's a good one.

What is your favorite holiday movie?

I have 2. Christmas Vacation (of course) and Meet me in St. Louis (old school)

Miracle on 34th Street, original edition

I also like to watch the made for TV movies in the Hallmark channel and lifetime

Favorite family movie- Elf
Favorite non-family movie- Christmas Vacation
Overall- Miracle on 34th Street, the new one, it was the movie DH and I saw on our first date!

Miracle on 34th Street - original edition!! :santa: (sorry, aroyer, but I like the mail much better than the dollar bills!)

computer totally went crazy on me and posted twice!

No worries, it has more sentimental for me than anything!

Hmmmm...not sure I have a favorite.:confused3 I like Christmas Vacation. I have never seen Miracle on 34th street. I think It's a Wonderful Life is just a horrible story -- DH loves it. As kids my brother and sisters and I really liked the cartoon with Heat Miser, I forget the name. Oh and Emmet Otter's JugBand Christmas. I think that is the name. The CHristmas Story too -- you'll shoot your eye out --that one.

I dont think I have a favorite.

We watch Polar Express on Thanksgiving. And try to watch one every night until christmas. DD#2 has been watching the Santa Clause's. I saw the orignal at the movies when i was in Jr high. So it makes me feel old. :scared1: and of course we have to watch Christmas Story. My mom hates it!!

All time favorite is White Christmas. I watch it all year round to annoy my kids. Family Favorite is Elf. We watched it tonight. "Buddy the Elf. Whats your favorite color?" lol

Christmas Vacation! I'm the annoying person who says all of the lines right before they happen. . .DH and I probably quote that movie more than any other, all year long!

I also love the Santa Claus movies and Christmas with the Kranks. I cry at Christmas with the Kranks EVERY time!!

My brother LOVES Christmas Story! He watches it at least 7 times on the Christmas Eve/Day marathon!

I just love It's a Wonderful Life. But, it must be in black & white. I don't like the colorized version. We also like Christmas Story and The Santa Clause. Polar Express is another favorite.

oh i love this question!

dh- it's a wonderful life. he has to watch it every year. i've never seen it from start to finish! :scared1:

i love the original miracle on 34th street!

but we have to watch christmas vacation when we put up the tree. that's a tradition with dh and i. and we also quote it out SIOH. so we would fit right in at your house!

but now with ds he loves to watch the polor express! we took him to see it at the IMAX last year and it was awesome on that big screen with the glasses. really it was so worth it.

i just love all the christmas movies. except for that christmas story one. and dh loves it! so he watches it alone! i just don't get it!:confused3

We just watched Polar Express last night.
We have the collection of Christmas stories (Rudolph, Santa Clause, Baby New Year, Frosty) all those puppet/claymation ones. I can't watch the one with Nestor the long eared donkey without crying.
We also love all the SpongeBob Christmas ones. Squidward is my favorite.

Made for TV movies on Hallmark..

I really liked Midnight and Mistletoe last weekend....

DD loves it's a wonderful life

The boys love all the animation cartoony ones

DH must watch Peanuts!!

"Buddy the Elf. Whats your favorite color?" lol
:lmao::lmao::lmao:We quote Elf all the time, it's so funny when the kids do it! "Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corn, and Syrup!"

DH and I probably quote that movie more than any other, all year long!
We quote it lots too especially DH with "I don't know Margo!" and this time of the year "Lot of sap in here!" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I insist on saying "Well, if you don't mind, here's a list. . .alphabetical, starting with Catherine", any time anyone asks for our Christmas list! ;) And we're big on, "If you don't mind me asking Clark, how much did that set you back?" Yep, we're dorks!! :rotfl2:

mine is...
if that cat has 9 lives he just spent them all!:lmao:

I am with nancy- I love the Hallmark and Lifetime TV movies-
Some of my favorites:

Recipe for a Perfect Christmas
Noel
Once Upon a Christmas
Twice Upon a Christmas

I taped the one you watched last night to see when I have a chance.

My other favorite I can't remember the titles of:

The one where Roma Downey is a single mom (basically) and her daughter runs into the house of the owner of the factory where she works and they pretend to be his family so he can make a business deal.
