OK, the obvious question for today is....

So, what did ya get?

I got spoiled, that's all there is to it!

Scrappy stuff, I got a pink Bind it All with a pink case, and a bunch of wires, and a pink cutter
4 carts

I also got garden stuff, lounge stuff, and stuff to make me smell yummy

And I got the stone to make the cheese ring!

My kids and DH are already telling me the things that need to be returned, so I know how I'll be spending my Monday

i got 2 carts -that i already have so no big deal! i'll take them back. dh said he let ds pick them out and knew i already had them and wanted the new ones like sesame st. but he so wanted to get those so he let him!

I also have all the paper products that my DH got from Tuesday Morning after Thanksgiving. I'm allowed to use them now.

I was definitely spoiled, too!!

Our anniversary is the week before Christmas (great at the time, crazy to try to celebrate now!!). DH got me a Pandora bracelet and charm for that. Then, for Christmas I got 3 more charms--from DH, Mom, and my brother. I also got a new CM Power Sorter box, the Cuttin' Up cartridge, Season 3 of Jon and Kate on DVD, a bunch of shoes (I needed them for work), 2 triple sorter laundry hampers (I asked for these. . .I've been wanting them forever!!), and a new Disney watch!! DH also got me PhotoShop Elements. . .I may have to try some digi-scrapping!!

DS had a wonderful Christmas. We had so much fun opening his gifts--he sort of looks at us like, "Ummm, you're excited, so I'll pretend I am!" Is it possible I'm getting sarcasm from an almost 5 month old?? It really did make it the best Christmas ever!!

My favorite Christmas gift, though, was one I got DH. When Oprah had posted that Snapfish coupon for the free photobook, I ordered DH one with pics of he and DS. When he opened it, he cried! It made my Christmas!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!

DH got me 5 carts --Storybook, Cars, Joys of the Season, Cuttin Up and Locker Talk, 6 cuttlebug embossing folders, a whole bunch of Tim Holtz distress inks, a 12x12 album and 3 8x8 albums (I'll finally be able to put my 8x8 swap pages in books!) a packagage of American crafts patterned paper, the 300 pack of American Crafts cardstock that ACM had on black Friday sale, and a big box of Bazzill paper.

Non-scrap stuff: a tripod and travel case and wii fitness board

DS3 picked out 4 bottles of stickles and comfy socks
DS5 picked out 5 bottles of stickles, a color wheel and a tree ornament
DD8 picked out a bunch of brads and eyelets, some paper piecing tool that I have never seen before -- it has interchangeable tips, and a notebook

My Dad got me cricut mats and blades for the year (10 sets of each, I hope that is enough)

My pollyana got me a bunch of embellishments from oriental trading.

Christmas was great here too!

I got 6 Cricut cartridges (DH and DS got these at Michaels on Thanksgiving and I can play with them now!!!!). They are: Tinkerbell & Friends, Joys of the Season, Speaking of Fall, Opposites Attract, Sports Mania, and Stretch Your Imagination. I also got a K&Company paper stack, a bunch of stickers, and a Crop-a-dile. DS sent me on a scavenger hunt to find my present from him - a stamp set and a box of really nice inking pens. From my Mom and stepdad, I got some new pj's, a top, a picture frame, a movie (Mamma Mia), a book (Dewey), and some British candy (Malteesers & Flake bars - my favorites!!!!). My brother gave me a gift card to Michaels!!!!!

SIOH - love that your dh loved his book. those are the memories that you'll never forget. we have some that we talk about every year. love that stuff. and what kind of beads did you get??

DIT have fun at your Inlaws. what are you spending your g.c. on?

Susan- your kids did well with what they picked out!

Ann- love that you got a new coat. i've been wanting one also. i'm thinking i might watch the sales for one.

i also go g.c. from acmoore from mom. i think i might hold on to them until i see something i REALLY want.

I must say DH went over and above this year as well as the kids!!!

I got my new dryer (which in response I ask DH to return everything but the carts because I hate to have $$ spent on me)....

I got 3 new carts ( a 4th coming from my mother on Sunday)
lots of new tops
lots of socks (dressy kind)
panty hose (knee hi & thigh hi) ~ I still say DH says I don't dress up enough..
lip glosses
bubble bath
new sweat outfit...and guess what color.... wait.. wait for it... PINK!
new perfume (shania and ??? can't remember)

DS8 got me... bubble bath
DS12 got me a movie (I watched it last night and it was GREAT)
DD15 got me a set of chipboard and a bunch of new socks (PINK!)
DsSs got me NOTHING!!! (DH signs their names to items but I never even got a MERRY CHRISTMAS or a THANK YOU for what we purchased... I'm sad..but its the same way year after year..and I can't change the way they are...I try)..

I will tell you the most magical part of my Christmas was having my kids and DH happy, healthy, and LOVING me ...and be thankful and happy for what we have together.. life, love and happiness!!!

I'm going to have to start a gratuitous thread for everyone that wants to increase their post count

From DH, I got the serving dishes I wanted from Crate & Barrel (search for Tango to see them), Beauty & the Beast Hallmark ornament, and he got me a 14K gold chain so that I could wear my engagement ring. I have a psoriasis spot on my ring finger that seems to get worse every time I have both rings on, and the engagement ring is a little snug too, so I have been wearing only my wedding ring for about the last 2 years.

My parents got us a lot of Disney stuff, like usual. Lots of Alice in Wonderland stuff for me, and quite a few ornaments this year. Nice fuzzy throw since we live in a land of white stuff now, and I get cold easily.

DSIL & DBIL got us a Kodak digital frame, because she knows we have too many good photos to display any other way. And itunes gift cards.

DMIL & DFIL got us a bunch of different things. Disney puzzle, Mythbusters stuff, handbag, jewelry, books, and I got a small album for our pictures to Tahoe this summer.

Grandpa got us (through DMIL's shopping) a GC from DH's favorite book store in Denver, and a Michaels GC (woo hoo!)

From the exchanges we got more itunes GC, a beautiful tray that DBIL made. I'm going to use it to hold the scrapbook tools I use all the time, that get lost (ATG gun, glue pens, ruler, glue dots, pens, scissors.), books and an ice cream maker that works by rolling or tossing this ball thing around. I stole it, partly because I am kind of interested in making home made ice cream, especially if I can get the dole whip stuff to work in it, and partially to let Grandpa back in the game, which would create all sorts of chaos, which is exactly what happened. So for the entertainment aspect it was well worth it.

DS17- Movies, Mad Money, Christmas with the Kranks, and a Chris Tomlin cd-love it!

DSis- gc for Outback- yum and AmEx gc

This year was way different than the others have been. We started some new traditions and it was good.
Remember the 3 kids-neice and nephews we thought we would be raising? But the dad showed up...we have called and called but haven't heard from him. Very different Christmas without them. But still good and we are thankful everyone is healthy and happy!

I got a Cricut! So much fun, I keep creating projects just so I can use it. Also got Locker Talk for it since I teach, woo hoo! Lots and lots of books and CD's as well. Now, if only someone had given me free babysitting I'd have time to use it all.

6 - 6x6 album kits - halloween, fall & winter ones.
3 - 12x12 album kits - halloween, fall & winter.
12x12 page kits I'm not sure how many exactly because they got moved. But these also were in halloween, fall & winter/christmas themes. Two sets of each them (because I have two boys - isn't he thoughtful )
And a bunch of paper packs - same paper many times - all in all it was $174 worth of products. He makes sure I know it was that amount.


Oh - and I completely forgot - we took away the unlimited phone minutes and now I have

I got DH's old iPhone since Santa brought him a new one. So I can text and DIS anytime I want to!!! Now to go program your number into my phone!!

Oh what did I get???

• A shawl - not really what I wanted, I need a nice cardigan but I'll use the shawl too.

• car adapter for the iPod, not crazy about it. It's loose, I want a bracket.
• new battery for my Mac. Finally!!! I so needed that one.
• A jacket from LLBean, it will be here on Tuesday
• Trader Joe's reusable bag. I've been dying for one of these. They are a tarp like material. I need to buy more.
• 2 disney puzzles
• tea brewer, part of my waste reduction is no more single tea bags. so I brew the tea, let it steep, and pour it in my cup. This spring we are buying a compost barrel for our organic waste, like veggies and such.
• a book about going greener
• and the coolest Disney bracelet known to man!!!!
