how long have you been on DIS??

I see later you say this was a dumb question, but it's not I've actually been on the DIS longer than what it says under my name. I joined back in April of 2000. My husband and I shared the screen name that he registered under - MZDavis. Shortly after joining we were asked to become chat hosts. People used to get so frustrated because they had no idea if it was my husband or me talking to them. When we were asked to become moderators, we went ahead and registered separate screen names. So I've been here longer than it looks.

Here's a question, What's the craziest board you've moderated?

Craziest board I moderated was my first board. The Collectors board. Now it's a very slow, sleepy board but back in 2000-2002 during the height of pin trading, it could be quite a challenge.

Fighting was sometimes a daily thing. There was always trouble with scammers and trades that went wrong. I often ended up the day with a headache.

It was such a buzy board that my good friend AZJazzyJ (now the photography board mod) planned a meet down in WDW. The attendance got so out of hand, we had to rent a ballroom at the Swan to fit everyone. We ended up with about 250 people attending. Thank goodness that craze has died down!

Yep, I was on the CB. Lets see if I can remember all the boards I've moderated. Back in the "olden days" we were rotated around more. I did the Collectors board, Resorts Board, Restaurants Board, Community Board, Creative Communities, then I took a hiatus, and now Teen.

I think I was posting about the crazy boards while you were posting this question but outside of the collectors board during the pin craze that I talked about above, probably community was the only other crazy board. Resorts was actually kind of slow to me. I think it's different now. There weren't people so dedicated to their favorite resorts when I was there. My husband moderates the Transportation board and as he says, there is no pixie dust on the Transportation board
