Getting to HS for Rise with little one

I’ve heard Disney transportation is somewhat unreliable for getting to HS early for Rise boarding group. I’m considering Uber Family because I need a car seat. Has anyone had success doing this early in the morning? I’ve read the amount of Ubers with car seat are limited. I’d do a Minnie Van but they don’t start until 6:30, right? I don’t want to waste my time.

Several poster have reported getting picked up by Disney buses at 5:45 AM going to DHS. But yes, you should be able to get an Uber early enough.

When are you planning this for?

You can get to DHS 30 minutes before opening and get into the park before opening time. The current schedule has the park moving to 8am openings starting on 2/4. If you can get into an MV before 7, that would give you plenty of time to get in the park by 8.

Everyone who has tapped into the park by opening time has an equal chance at a ROTR BG. There is no advantage to being earlier, unless you want to try for a RD standby one of the other popular attractions.

There are lots of Ubers around, but I don't know about ones with car seats.

We’re going at the end of February so I’m hopeful they’ll open at 8 and not push it up to 7 so we don’t have to leave quite so early! Thanks!
