We have PS's for breakfast at the grand floridian, and was wondering if

A- is it easier to drive straight here park, and then had onto the park we are visiting that day.

OR

B- park at MK and monorail it over to GF.

Just wondering is the later possible,??, do we have have to change to the resort monorail, or do you just stay on the normal one??.

I was thinking if we did it this way, we wouldnt have the worry of parking the car at MK when we had finished brekkie. Presuming at that early in the morning (pre 8.00), that we could park at MK parking lot?.

Just trying to make life easier. What do you think??.

Jules
I think thats as clear as mud!!!!

We also have this dilemma, as we have a PS for 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

I did some research, and the MK Car Parks open at least 1 hour prior to opening, but sometimes earlier in busy months. Last year we did Chef Mickeys and the MK car park was open at 6.45.

If you park at the Resort you will only be issued with a 3 hour permit. This scuppered my plan last year of riding the monorail from the Contempory to MK. I asked around and some people just put the parking pass in the glove box and stay parked here all day. Others think you could be towed away for doing this. There is also the moral issue, if the car park was busy, then you could be depriving a paying guest at the resort, of a space.

I have several "resort" meals booked this year, and I am going to play it by ear. If the resort car park is emptyish, then I would feel Ok about staying, but I would still ask at the gate first.

Another option is to Valet Park at the resort where there is no time limit and the cost is the same as the theme parks car park. I will also try this option to see how it pans out.

Hope that helps.
Allie.

That's good to know that the MK carpark opens that much earliar than the parks.
